We are excited to announce that our team will soon install mats at Vantara, a large wildlife rescue and care center in Jamnagar, Gujarat. This is one of the biggest projects we have ever worked on in India, and we are proud to support Vantara’s mission of providing rescued animals with a safe and caring home.
When it comes to caring for animals, especially large and majestic ones like elephants, safety and comfort are top priorities. At Vikas Rubber Mats, we have always believed that quality flooring plays a big role in creating a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for both humans and animals. We are proud to share that our company is installing 1.7 lakh square feet of high-quality rubber mats at the Elephant Centre in Vantara.
About Vantara
Vantara, which means “Star of the Forest,” is a special wildlife care and conservation project started by Anant Ambani. It is home to more than 2,000 animals from 43 different species, including elephants, lions, leopards, and many others. The centre has modern medical facilities and large enclosures that feel like the animals’ natural homes. Vantara is setting a new example in how wildlife should be cared for and protected.
Vantara’s Elephant Centre
Vantara is one of India’s most trusted places for rescuing and caring for wildlife. It provides medical care, shelter, and a safe home for rescued and retired elephants. Many of these elephants come from tough situations and need a peaceful place to heal, rest, and live with respect. The Elephant Centre at Vantara offers them open spaces, good medical support, and safe flooring. Vikas Rubber Mats is making a big difference in this effort.
The Project - Installing Mats for Elephants at Vantara!
Vantara works hard to support animal welfare and conservation, and we are proud to help. We will install 1,70,000 square feet of mats in the Elephant Centre at Vantara. This project will take 4 months and will create a safe and comfortable surface for the elephants. We are committed to providing high-quality work and ensuring the mats meet the elephants' needs.

Why Only Vikas Rubber For This Project?
Elephants are heavy animals, weighing several tonnes. Constant standing or walking on hard or rough surfaces can cause joint problems, foot injuries, and discomfort. Rubber mats provide a soft, cushioned, and non-slippery surface that helps in multiple ways:
- Reduces stress on joints and feet
- Prevents slipping and injuries
- Provides insulation from cold or damp floors
- Improves hygiene as mats are easy to clean
- Offers better comfort for resting

Our Experience in Animal Care Flooring
